UOL Becomes First University in Pakistan to Implement Student Lifecycle Management Software at Gujrat Campus

The University of Lahore becomes the first University in the entire Pakistan to implement software known as Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM). SAP, enterprising software developer cooperation, is behind SLCM. It develops enterprise software that manages business operations and customer relations easily.

UoL has successfully implemented SAP SLCM, the very first ever in Pakistan, with the help of Biafotech, a consultancy firm based at UoL Main Campus at Lahore. This milestone, places UoL ahead of other institutions in the education sector. Biafotech has used expert knowledge and SAP experience to integrate and synchronize all UoL’s operations with SAP SLCM in a period of 5 months.

In the first phase of this go-live drive; UoL’s Gujrat Campus will have all their student and administrative tasks managed through SLCM. This will be done through the intuitive user interface and user experience of this application. The mobile App will even be accessed via smartphones.

SLCM will be able to capture student enrollment, grading, monitoring, scheduling, and assessment. It is an automated online portal for students to enroll, register, assess semester-wise progress and enables students to do self-evaluation.

The User Acceptance Test (UAT) exercise was officiated by UoL’s Pro-Rector Academics, Mr Nasir Mahmood, Biafotech Chief Technical Officer, Mr Usman Javaid Malik, and the Campus Director, Mr. Naveed Akbar.
